SnackShots #4: Salad

At last summer has arrived here in the UK and what better reason to celebrate than with a crispy, cool salad. Salads definitely top the list of the dish that is easy and quick to prepare and healthy. Whether it is leafy green to-do, starchy pasta or potato salad, meaty or fishy or warm or cold, anything goes. If you have a favourite salad, why not share it with the world and at the same time get all lyrical about it to stand a chance to win the Word4Word writing award?
What Must I Do?
Take a photo of your salad.
Pictures should be no more than 400px in length or width.
Only one photo per person or blog is allowed.
The deadline is on 16 June 2008.
Please send an email to michelle AT greedygourmet DOT com and include the following:
- Your name
- The name and URL of your blog
- The name of your dish OR a descriptive title of your photo
- Which camera and lens you used
- The permalink to your entry posting with a link to Snackshots’ entry details, i.e. this page.
If you don’t have a blog, you can still participate; just email us your entry with a photo attached.
Salad should be the main (50% or more) subject in your dish/photo.
What Happens After That?
I will reply to your email to confirm that I have received your entry. If within a few days you haven’t heard from me, give me a nudge, because your email might have landed in my spam trap. (Please note I will be away on holiday in early to mid-June)
A roundup of all entries will be posted a few days later. A panel of judges will judge all entries and the winners will be announced soon after.
