Judith: If your husband is like mine, i.e. completely set in his ways, then I don’t have any other suggestions BUT to make a huge batch of Bolognese, chilli or stew, you get the idea, and freeze portion sizes of it. Then the day you feel fed up and would like to treat yourself, just thaw his food and tell him to look after himself because he’s a big boy.

I was laughing and smiling from ear to ear with your intro, that sounds like me! I was born in the Nederlands and raised half there and half in the Caribbean. My husband on the other hand is from Indiana, USA. I do get weary of cooking two meals when I need the wake up from bla food land. Any suggestions?
