Slowly but surely I’m getting closer to ruling the world… Okay, not really, but let me tell you what happened.
Month after month I perused the new issue of olive magazine and every time I saw their invitation for readers’ recipes. At last, on one rainy day I got around to choosing a recipe (Don Pedro) and sent off an email to them. I had nothing to lose after all. Then I forgot about it.
Out of the blue a few months later a member of the olive staff contacted me and asked for a photo because my recipe was going to appear in the May edition. Check out Your Sexiness below…
If you really want to flatter me, spell my surname correctly. The most common errors are “Minaar” or “Minnar”. Two n’s and two a’s, please – Minnaar. It’s a Dutch/Afrikaans surname and it literally means “lover”.
Other than that, I’m as happy as a clam!
