Have you ever heard of black garlic? Neither have I before now.

Always thinking of the next meal...

Home owners are very familiar with this concept: something in the house is always broken.

This fantastic idea comes from Mexico where avocados come aplenty and are used from starters to desserts, even drinks! Also, usually soups containing avocado are served cold, but this one is hot because here at Greedy Gourmet we like to be different.

For a change I can’t complain about the British weather. It’s been ultra warm this past week and we’ve been enjoying the sunshine every day in the park and garden. I felt it was time for a change and decided to get all my hair, which almost reached my waist, chopped off today.

When I was a typical kid, I was a finicky eater especially when it came to vegetables. As far as I can remember the only veggies I ate were peas, carrots, mushrooms, cauliflower and potatoes. Tiny onion pieces in meat dishes were painstakingly picked out and decorated the side of my plate meal after meal. My parents tried their best to ply me with all sorts but to no avail. Popeye could keep his spinach and the whole other lot too.
