Even though it was only a day trip to Lille, it felt like days and I kept going about my day trip to Lille and activities in Lille and cooking classes in Lille and on and good food in Lille and Eurostar journey to Lille about it. Fortunately, the good people at Eurostar thought of the great idea to put two tickets up for grabs. Read on to find out how to enter.
Currently, Eurostar is promoting the idea of Little Break Big Difference; think along the lines of a mini-holiday. Based on this is this week’s question…

Lille is the town where OH goes for an annual trip with the boys. If I win I could go with my girlfriend.

Being self employed there’s no such thing as a proper holiday. But with Eurostar an action packed day could be my annual vacation, especially so as I’m sure my mobile will be without a reception!

I’ve never been to France,
I’ve never been on Eurostar so this could be my chance!

Being able to get lost in other place would be brilliant! I love to go to London and wander about seeing where i end up, doing it in Lille for a change would be amazing!

I’d like a little break to Lille with little lilly-livered Lily. Trouble is, my wife’s called Sandra.
To chill in Lille would be so brill I’d have to climb the biggest hill and do a dance in vest and pants to tell the world “I’m off to France! Not by boat or common car, but going in style by Eurostar! That beats Uni work by far!”
I am fascinated by the birthplace of De Gaulle and the home of Pasteur, the haute cuisine and the wine. Most of all however I am very keen to understand why the medieval first city of Flanders chose to twin itself with Leeds.

A litte break to Lille, would make a big difference to the Christmas presents my family and friends would get, as I would love to go round the Christmas markets gathering presents for all.
My birhday is on the 22nd so a present of a trip to Lille on Eurostar, my favourite train, would be just wonderful.
My best friend Stephane lives in Lille and winning 2 Eurostar tickets to Lille would allow Olivier, my husband, and I to visit him. I met Stephane at university when I was 17 and he introduced me to Olivier in the uni’s cafeteria. We will be forever indebted to him as without him our strong and happy marriage (of 15 years as of the 16th of this month!) may never have seen the day, as would our beautiful children…

partner and I both made redundant so had to cancel summer holiday, wedding plans, 20th anniversary plans and 50th birthday plans so need a lille something to look forward to.

Just digging around for articles on travel to Lille and happened upon this competition. Just a little too late. Ho hum.
I was hoping to get over to Lille this football season to take in some French league football (seeing as UK club games close to me are always sold out) and follow up with a cultural exploration with a nice bit of grub and museum visit perhaps the next day. I found a deal with Short Breaks Ltd, Eurostar to Lille from £115pp. That includes train from London plus 1 night hotel on bed and breakfast basis. So I will be researching on French restaurant guides/blogs now before planning the trip.

My daughter took me to Lille on Eurostar as a treat after having an operation. It was fantastic. We must have walked the whole town and then had a fabulous lunch. The chocolate shops were unbelievable.I would love to be able to return the treat since she has suffered 2 miscarriages in the last year and more than deserves a special day out with her Mum
Due to caring 24hours daily for my wifes 97 year old mother we have a 48 hour pass each week.
