Having a sweet tooth i am brought to mind of a dessert i had in Egypt it was called ‘Basbousa’ a semolina pastry soaked in honey and topped with crunchy hazelnuts. It was so yummy i had to have seconds!
I have since tried to make it at home but it just didn’t taste the same without the warm evening breeze, the smell of spices in the air, a chilled glass of Rose Obelisk
and the glistening fountains of the restaurant. Oh my i think i need to go back to Egypt!!
