my favourite lazy meal is a veggie ‘shepherds pie’ made with soya mice which is reconstituted with passata rather than just boiling water to give it lots of flavour. A chopped onion, a few mushrooms, a sprinkle of salt, pepper and whatever herbs come out of the cupboard first. Topped with some cheesy mashed potato (instant mash if I’m being really lazy). Ooooh I’ve made myself hungry now and it’s at least 7 hours ’til dinner time.

Chip butties! Put oven on at 220, slap in some good quality oven chips. While they’re cooking prepare a nice big plate of white bread and butter. Brew a pot of tea. Put the TV on. Arrange salt, vinegar, tomato sauce etc on coffee table. Put now cooked chips in a large bowl lined with kitchen paper. Put your feet up and tuck in!
superb
fave lazy meal is baked potatoes filled with Mana’s Cheesy stuff – mix together hefty spoonfuls of Tesco cheese spread and white cheese spread and Hellmanns with a good splash of milk and plenty of strong cheese – Seriously Strong Cheddar is the best. Nuke, covered, for a minute or two then stir like crazy and pour into baked potatoes. Even better with fried mushrooms in the middle of the tatas. Yum! @essexgirlSE

Crushed anchovies, chopped tomatoes, garlic, parsley, olive oil and black pepper mixed through some garlic and basil linguine – delicious!
I already suscribe. My favourite quick meal is Greek Salad. Tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, Feta cheese, olive oil and oregano. Toss it together and served with lovely bread!
I already subscribe. I would love to win this; I used to have my own cafe years ago and I think things have moved on from black pudding and bubble & squeak!
