When Greedy Gourmet got established in 2007 it was a general food blog that covered everything imaginable. As the years passed its direction has become more fine-tuned. For instance, I’ve discovered my love for regional cuisine and the history attached to dishes and recipes. Recipe articles are written as thoroughly as possible in the hope that you will find it useful.
What you can expect
- Recipes: This is Greedy Gourmet’s main content. Recently I’ve started doing photo shoots at restaurants. Why? Wouldn’t you want to know how the chefs create those delicious dishes they serve you time and time again? Most of us don’t have the guts to ask for the recipe but somehow I’ve become more bold. In fact, restaurants love showing me how to cook easy dishes suitable for home cooking. In return, I love learning from the best chefs and telling you all about it! At home these days I focus a lot more on batch cooking; that is making food in big quantities and saving it in portions. It saves time and money!
- Restaurant Reviews: Once a month I travel to London for a day out to catch up with friends and review a restaurant. Sometimes I try out Essex restaurants too.
- Giveaways: Who doesn’t like to win a freebie?
- Travel: The kids, Gabriel and Robyn, are a bit older now (no teething babies, nappies and buggy) and we can finally start traveling again. You might just hear about our shenanigans one of these days.
