Air Fryer Baby Potatoes Recipe
- Total Time: 30 minutes
- Yield: 4 servings
- Diet: Vegan
Description
Crispy air fryer baby potatoes with fluffy centres and golden, seasoned skins. Quick, easy and packed with flavour, they’re a great side for any meal.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ lb baby potatoes, washed, dried, and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped (or 3 teaspoons dried rosemary)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Add the cut potatoes to a large bowl and drizzle with the olive oil. Toss potatoes until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle over the garlic powder, rosemary, paprika, salt, and black pepper, then mix well so the seasoning coats all sides.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil and place potatoes in a single layer.
- Air fry at 400°F (204°C) for 15 minutes. Shake the basket or simply toss the potatoes halfway through cooking.
- Check for doneness by piercing with a fork. If needed, continue cooking in 2-minute increments until fork tender inside and super crispy on the outside.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve hot alongside meat, fish, or your favorite main.
Notes
For metric measurements, use 700 g baby potatoes, 30 ml olive oil, and 7 g fresh rosemary (or 3 g dried rosemary). The seasoning amounts stay the same: 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon paprika, and ⅛ teaspoon black pepper.
These potatoes work best when spread in a single layer, so if your air fryer basket is small, cook them in batches for the crispiest results.
