What is the EKO X Cube Recycling Bin?

It’s a state of the art bin that’s perfect for busy families, with a few ingenious little features that takes the edge off of waste disposal.

40 litre capacity

With twin 20 litre inner buckets, there’s plenty of space to put your rubbish. Each bin is colour coded, so you can easily keep your main rubbish separated from your recycling, or your plastic recycling separated from your bottles. 

Quality materials

It’s made from high quality brushed stainless steel, which gives it that real high end look and refined finish. It’s also got an antibacterial clear coating on stainless steel and germ resistant inner bucket, for complete hygiene.

Perfectly sized bin liners

The bin comes with its own dedicated bin liners, which fit perfectly inside each bin compartment. It’s opened by using the foot pedal and has a soft close lid. There’s also a bag holder function, which helps keep everything nice and tidy.

Odour control

The inside of the lid is fitted with a built in deodoriser compartment. You can attach an odour filter in this compartment, which stops odours.

What I like about the EKO X Cube Recycling Bin

There’s plenty to like about this bin. You might think “who cares about a bin, they’re all the same right?” Believe me, I wasn’t expecting much until I first used this little beaut.

Then I was completely converted! Here’s a rundown of why I think the EKO X Cube recycling bin is the bee’s knees:

It’s built really well

Honestly, I’ve had enough of those mediocre bins you can buy from any high street retailer. Most of the time these products don’t last and they’re really cheaply made. Once you try a proper bin, you realise it’s totally worth paying a little extra.

It’s made from high-quality stainless steel, not cheap breakable plastic. So, you know this thing is going to last a long time. You can feel the build quality when you move it – it’s heavy, not too heavy, but it’s got that solid feel to it, which makes you think of a well-built piece of kit.

It looks cool

Who would have thought a bin could actually make your kitchen look better?! Well, it does. 

The brushed outer material gives it that ultra sleek, modern look. It even comes in four different colours – stainless steel, cream, copper and titanium blue – so you can build it into your kitchen’s colour scheme.

It’s fingerprint resistant

Okay, this might not seem like a big one, but it really impresses me! The makers of this bin have managed to make it completely resistant to fingerprints. 

It’s something that drives me crazy! You try to make your kitchen nice and tidy, only for the bin in the corner to end up covered in fingerprints every time you take the rubbish out. Well, the high quality fingerprint resistant outer materials keep those messy fingerprints at bay.

It’s odour resistant to keep your bin smelling fresh

Not only does the silicone seal trap odours inside, but there’s a great little compartment fitted to the underside of the lid. This compartment can be fitted with perfume capsules or carbon odour filters perfect for cancelling out those bad smells from the bin.

There’s some great little features

When it comes to kitchen items like this, although the overall build quality is important, it’s often those small details that make all the difference.

The EKO X Cube has so many of those great little touches that make it a real pleasure to own. Have you ever had a bin that makes a big racket when you close it? Well, this one has a soft close lid – so, no more giving the dog a heart attack when you accidently slam the lid!

There’s also a little hole on the side of each of the inner buckets, so you can tuck excess baggage in and make sure the bin rim is all neat and tidy. This bag fixer means no more unsightly overhang from the bin liner.
