A tasty addition to your roast dinner. These Maple Glazed Carrots are easy to make and cooked to perfection.

- 1kg (2.2lb) carrots, peeled and sliced
- 42g (3 tbsp) butter
- 75ml (5 tbsp) maple syrup
Instructions
- Place the carrots in a pot of salted water.
- Bring to a boil then lower the heat to a simmering point.
- Cook for 10 minutes or until the carrots are tender.
- Drain the carrots in a colander and let them steam dry for a few minutes.
- Using the same pot, melt the butter and stir in the maple syrup over a medium heat.
- Stir in the carrots and let them heat through.
- Serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
- This recipe is highly versatile and you can easily adapt it to your preference.
- If you’re vegan, you can substitute the butter with a dairy-free version.
- Instead of boiling the carrots you can steam them.
