  • 30ml (2 tbsp) vegetable oil
  • 150g (5 oz) ketchup
  • 30ml (2 tbsp) Worcestershire sauce
  • 15ml (1 tbsp) peanut oil
  • 15ml (1 tbsp) mild mustard
  • 30ml (2 tbsp) brown sugar
  • 5ml (1 tsp) Smoked paprika
  • 2.5ml (½ tsp) cayenne pepper


  1. Place all the ingredients in a small saucepan.
  2. Heat the sauce on a low heat until well blended and the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Use the sauce as a dip or baste with your favourite meat or vegetables.
