Description

This simple and delectable air fryer ribeye steak goes from the air fryer to the table in under 15 minutes. Pair it with a crisp salad or a side vegetable of your choice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 boneless ribeye steak (1-1 and half inch thickness)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsps steak seasoning

Instructions

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. Pat the steak with a paper towel before drizzling it with olive oil. Let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking.

Instructions:

  1. Blot the ribeye steaks with paper towels to remove excess moisture and ensure better browning. Brush each steak with olive oil so they are well coated on both sides. Leave for 15 minutes at room temperature.
  2. In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika and steak spice. Rub the steaks evenly with this seasoning mixture, coating all surfaces for a flavorful and well-seasoned result.
  3. Begin frying by preheating the fryer to 400°F (200°C). This will provide the optimal temperature for crispiness on the ribeye steaks. Carefully place the seasoned ribeye steaks into the preheated air fryer basket, being careful not to overload it and to ensure proper air circulation. For medium rare steaks, cook them for 10-12 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time. The cooking time can be adjusted according to the desired degree of doneness.
  4. Using a meat thermometer, check the internal temperature of the steaks. For medium rare, the temperature should be 135°F (57°C). Remember that the temperature will rise slightly as the steaks rest.
  5. When the ribeye steaks are cooked through, remove them from the fryer and let them rest for a few minutes. This will allow the juices to be redistributed, ensuring juiciness and flavor. Slice the ribeye steaks against the fibers and serve immediately. Enjoy!
