It's time for a Christmas gin cocktail! Nothing is better during the holidays than putting your feet up and sipping away on your own homemade Christmas gin cocktail.
That's right, you don't have to go to a fancy establishment to sample this amazing beverage. If you follow the instructions carefully, you can make it in a matter of minutes and impress your guests.
This Christmas gin cocktail recipe is full of fruity flavours with the addition of raw cranberries and spices. Moreover, the Christmas gin recipe isn't as strong as the long beach iced tea because it only requires a splash of gin.
The fruity flavours are derived from the addition of juices, which can also be used to dilute the strength of the cocktail. When combined with the gin, it makes a light and vibrant Christmas cocktail.
You can get very creative with the Christmas gin cocktail by altering the proportions of the remaining ingredients. So, you can make the cocktail weaker, stronger or fruitier. Whatever your taste buds prefer. Enjoy and happy holidays!
Christmas gin cocktail recipe
This Christmas gin cocktail recipe is made up of the following elements: lime juice, apple juice, cranberry juice, a splash of gin and cinnamon. It is a refreshing alcoholic beverage (for adults only) with Christmassy flavours.
Actually, it's very reminiscent of my other gin cocktail recipe, which is ginger beer and gin cocktail. However, the version with the ginger beer is more refreshing, acidic and less sweet.
Come and try this excellent Christmas cocktail and see how you can make it your own. I am sure you'll be able to make a version of it which will satisfy you best.

Cranberry gin cocktail
If you want to make this fruity Christmas gin cocktail, just add more cranberry juice instead of the other juices. The cranberry juice will add a lovely acidity and a delightful tint to your drink.
If you need to sweeten the cocktail up, you can add a liquid sweetener. Otherwise, a touch of cranberry tea with dissolved sugar will do the trick.
Christmas gin punch
You can use this Christmas gin cocktail as a base for making a Christmas gin punch. First of all there are a couple of ways you can pump the cocktail with Christmas flavours.
In essence, I recommend adding a dash of apple and cinnamon infusion, you can make it yourself. Apple and cinnamon flavours always remind me fondly of Christmas.
Would you like to save this?
Add enough of the infusion, so that the flavours are present in the punch. Remember, you can always dilute with more juices or water.
The difficulty is to add as much flavour as possible. The infusion is one of the best flavour enhancers. Best of all, it isn't artificial. Also, I recommend adding more cranberry juice to make the gin punch take on a sumptuous red colour. After all, no colour resembles Christmas like red.
Lastly, as with any punch, you'll need to add some fresh fruit, so it can simmer away. I recommend cutting up cranberries into small pieces so they soften up faster.
Plus, they'll release more flavour. Moreover, you can also add orange, orange zest, pomegranate seeds as well as thin slices of apple.
Christmas gin and tonic
Again, to make a Christmas gin and tonic, you can add a splash of cranberry juice. Moreover, you can serve the gin tonic with a cinnamon stick.
Best of all, if you can source a flavoured gin (for example pomegranate gin, apple gin, or cranberry gin) then it would pair very well with the tonic.
